| ...Older Worker Program The Older Worker Program allows an employer to train an individual 55 years or older, who would not be qualified without additional skill training. The employer agrees to provide the needed training, but is not responsible for the individual’s salary during training. WorkSource pays the trainee 100% of the prevailing wage for an agreed-upon period of time. The employer agrees to retain the trainee after the training period ends, provided the individual has performed successfully. |
